The Value of a Portrait
The portraits of companions that I paint are very labor intensive, with many hours spent on each artwork. In each artwork I use my skill and signature style combined with the beauty of oil paint to bring your beloved pet to life on canvas.
As each portrait that I create is an individual and separate work of art, some of these pricings may vary slightly. This chart is designed to provide you with a very good idea of what the price of your portrait will be depending on what options you desire, prior to a consultation with me. The price ranges in each bracket are taken directly from the sliding scale function I have developed for my portraits.
Want a different size? All portrait sizes are customizable! I can make a painting to any size specifications, I price according to the area of a painting so an 8x10 costs the same as a 6x13. I have suggested some standard sizes in the pricing chart to help with visualization.
- There is an extra $15 charge for the full body of your pet to be portrayed.
- All prices are in US Dollars.
- All portraits are unframed.
- All portraits must be payed upfront!
- Work on a portrait does not stop until the client is 100% satisfied.
- Updates are sent through digital images in email.
- Original commissioned artwork by Anna Handy is for personal use only, all reproduction rights are maintained by artist.
- All portraits are signed and dated by Anna Handy to confirm originality.
